Participating units and personnel scope
Government departments at all levels in various countries and provinces, cities, districts and counties in China, as well as developers, design firms, construction companies, operation and maintenance companies, innovative businesses, research institutions, universities, and student teams that apply BIM are eligible to participate in the competition either individually or in teams of up to three members. Each project should be registered under its own name, and the following requirements should be met: each project team should have no more than 6 members, and each person can participate in multiple projects. Additionally, the same project can compete for multiple awards in different categories. If applying for an enterprise award, the participating unit can only register and compete individually.
Categories and Scope of Entries
-
Based on the application and research areas of intelligent construction, the competition will be divided into five categories based on the application and research direction of intelligent construction: enterprise, project, application, academic, and sustainable development.
-
The theme of this competition is: Collaboration, Digital, Innovation. Entries should focus on sustainable development and artificial intelligence technology, fully consider the function, low carbon, aesthetics, sustainability, and digital application of the building, and help based on the actual situation of the project.
-
Projects related to CIM technology, BIM technology, GIS technology, IoT technology, digital twin technology, artificial intelligence technology, building industrialization, building big data, sensing and intelligent perception technology, intelligent construction equipment and robots, 5G technology, virtual reality technology (AR, VR, MR), information management platforms, green building technology, smart construction sites, intelligent operation and maintenance, carbon neutrality and green energy technology, and other related content can be submitted as competition entries. We encourage cross-disciplinary innovation and technical integration, aswell as practical engineering applications.
Evaluation Criteria
-
BIM modeling level (5%): accuracy, completeness, depth, and consistency of associated information in the model.
-
BIM application scale and stage (15%): the scale of the application (project size, business type) and the stages covered (application stages) by the enterprise/project.
-
BIM application standard system (15%): suitability, systematicness, and effectiveness of the enterprise/project's BIM application standard system.
-
BIM results and value (30%): highlights of the enterprise/project's application results in the current stage, and the value of BIM demonstrated.
-
BIM innovation level (30%): innovative application of BIM, value innovation, and platform innovation. For example, in the process of intelligent construction management, the integration and application capabilities of new technologies such as artificial intelligence AI, green and low-carbon, real-model consistency, and process traceability are realized.
-
Completeness of submitted materials (5%).
Competition Registration and Fee Details
The competition charges a registration fee based on the entries of the entries, with a fee of HKD$100 /project, and the competition operating unit is responsible for collecting the registration fee and issuing invoices. If the subsequent projects are shortlisted, a review fee of HKD$2,500 /project will be paid, and the registration fee can be used to deduct HKD$100, and the fees paid for the unshortlisted works will not be refunded
